The challenge of the project here was to rethink the spaces and journeys of the Imaging department of the Ambroise Paré hospital in order to offer a logical, fluid and relaxed reception experience, both for patients and caretakers as well as for medical and administrative staff.
The project was designed horizontally through collaborative workshops involving all stakeholders in order to identify the issues, think of solutions, prototype them, test them, and then deploy them.
The work on color, materials and light made it possible to define a clear and distinct distribution of the different functions of the space: reception, waiting, circulation, consultation.
In addition, the treatment of the spaces was designed for the different audiences: seating comfort for able-bodied patients, privacy and indirect light for bedridden patients awaiting examination.
Finally, the signage was redesigned in order to guide in complete autonomy and clearly identify the different stages and functions as the journey progresses.
